The funeral of Mrs. Kirschner was held on the Monday following her death. She had no children and was survived by her husband, Charles, and two sisters, Mrs. Keiffer and Mrs. Kramer, both of Rochester. She was buried in the Pittsford Cemetery.

Kirschner was committed to Craig Colony at Groveland, Livingston County, an institution for epileptics at that time. He was listed there until the 1915 census. After that time, and until the 1940 census, he was listed as working on the Albert Farm on Cheese Factory Road in Mendon. Charles Kirschner died on January 26, 1950, of arteriosclerosis. He was buried in the Pittsford Cemetery next to his wife without a gravestone.
